Mauritius, Cyprus, and UAE – January 2026 – Prime Financials, an institutional ecosystem for prime brokerage and global market access and Salvus Funds, a European regulatory advisory and licensing consultancy, today announced the signing of a three-year strategic agreement to deepen their collaboration and support Prime Financials’ continued business growth and international license expansion.
The partnership builds on more than two years of successful cooperation, underpinned by Prime Financials’ rapid growth and execution, including securing its Investment Dealer (Full Service) license in Mauritius (May 2024), expanding access to 50+ exchanges (February 2025), launching its Securities Financing Line for listed equities and investment-grade bonds, introducing stablecoin rails to enable on/off-ramping and broaden settlement optionality for institutional clients (October 2025), and, most recently, rolling out an options and futures offering.
Under the new agreement, Salvus Funds will continue to provide regulatory, licensing, and compliance advisory services, supporting Prime Financials’ plans to expand its regulatory footprint – most notably through the pursuit of a Virtual Asset license in Mauritius, an MSB license in Canada, and a broker-dealer license within Abu Dhabi’s ADGM.
Elie Afram, CEO of Prime Financials, said:
“We’re delighted to strengthen our relationship with Salvus Funds through this long-term agreement. Their expertise in regulatory strategy and licensing has been instrumental in our expansion so far, and this partnership will enable us to continue scaling globally while maintaining the highest standards of governance and operational excellence. It’s also been a pleasure working alongside such a knowledgeable, responsive team, their professionalism makes a real difference day to day.”
Nikolas Xenofontos, Managing Director of Salvus Funds, shared:
“Prime Financials encapsulates what our most valuable relationships have in common: discipline for execution, respect for regulation and ambition for growth. We are excited for what we have already achieved together, and remain committed to humbly support the team’s great plans. There is no shortage of challenges in our lines of business, and working with Prime Financials, overcoming those is both, meaningful and rewarding, across all jurisdictions.”
As both firms look ahead, the agreement sets a clear foundation for sustainable growth, combining Prime Financials’ prime brokerage capabilities with Salvus Funds’ proven regulatory expertise, to advance innovative financial services across multiple markets.
