Jacques has over 40 years in professional experience in finance in C-level executive positions at major financial institutions around the world. He founded Bank of China in Switzerland, and managed banks and financial institutions, private wealth, investment funds, and pension funds from Paris, London, New York, Monaco, Geneva, Dubai, Hong Kong and Shanghai.

He had the privilege to gain first-hand experience of most regions of the world: Japan and the Arab Gulf countries since 1984, Hong Kong and China since 1989, and the Indian sub-continent and Latin America since the 2000s, dealing with regulators, central banks and sovereign wealth funds.

He held board and executive positions at institutions including:
• CEO of Bank of China (Suisse) SA, Geneva
• Managing Partner and CEO of Heritage Fund Management SA, Geneva
• Deputy General Manager and Partner of Banque Heritage SA, Geneva
• Executive Management at Union Bancaire Privée, Geneva
• CEO of Julius Baer (Monaco) SAM, Monaco
• Deputy Manager at Barclays Bank, Monaco
• Director and Head of Trading at Kleinwort Benson Securities, London
• Portfolio Manager at BAII in Paris and New York

In 2010, he founded MAXIN ADVISORS, a research and advisory firm for institutional clients, pension funds, and hedge funds.

Jacques holds a Master in Law and a Bachelor in Economics from the University of Paris, and an MBA from the Institut d’Études Politiques de Paris. He also completed the Hague Academy of International Law sessions and the Public Leadership Executive Program at Harvard Kennedy School. A frequent speaker and contributor, he also teaches political science at USJ.
